Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection:
We offer complimentary cleaning and inspection services for your diamond rings and jewellery. Regular cleaning and inspection every 12 months will help extend the lifespan of your precious jewellery and prevent the stone from becoming loose.
If we find that your item has a manufacturing defect, we will either repair or replace the item. In the event of an unavailable item, we will, at our discretion, replace it with a similar item of equal value to its selling price. If we find that the item’s damage was not a result of a manufacturing defect, we will inform you of the cost of repairs.
Kindly note that coloured gemstones may contain internal inclusions or other slight irregularities. These natural characteristics, visible or non-visible, are unique to the gemstone and should not be considered a defect.
RIO also offers prong tightening, re-polishing, cleaning and ring mounting repairs throughout the life of your jewellery.
Warranty and Ring Service Conditions:
Our lifetime warranty is only available to RIO customers. Any ring maintenance, repairs, sizing or other services performed on your ring by a service provider other than RIO will void this warranty. Our warranty will not cover damage as a result of normal wear, loss of stone, theft, or damage or loss resulting from negligence in obtaining the repairs needed to maintain product integrity.
Common fine jewellery issues that are not considered a manufacturing defect includes:
- Discoloration caused by chemicals, showering or swimming pools.
- The ring setting and metal will generally show signs of wear over time and need restorative work.
- Loss of stone due to chipping, worn out prongs, normal wear or accidental impact.
