Diamond Upgrade

RIO is pleased to offer a Lifetime Diamond Upgrade program on all GIA and AGSL graded diamonds as part of its Jeweller For Life commitment. Simply contact a RIO Diamond and Jewellery Consultant at +65 9014 5988 to learn more about our upgrade program.

RIO Upgrade Guidelines:

Diamonds:

• All GIA or AGSL graded diamonds from RIO can be upgraded.
• 60-70% of the price of your original diamond can be used as credit for your new diamond.
• Your new diamond must be at least twice the price of your original diamond.
• Your diamond for upgrade must be in its original condition and contain its original diamond grading report.
• Damaged diamonds may be disqualified from our upgrade program.

Ring Settings:

• The credit value will be based completely on the value of the diamond.
• We will set your new diamond in your original setting if it is in reusable condition and fits your new diamond.
• If the original setting is unusable, you may choose to keep the setting or accept a credit at our discretion.
• If your diamond was not originally set by us, it must be returned without the setting.

Diamond Grading Reports:

Your original diamond grading report must be returned undamaged and in reusable condition. Fees may be charged for damaged reports.

In addition, we also offer free ring resizing services to our clients. 

• We will resize your ring free-of-charge within the first 30 days of purchase. This service is available for all white gold, rose gold and yellow gold engagement rings only. Kindly contact our RIO Diamond and Jewellery Consultants to have your item resized.
